When man colonizes the Moon or Mars, the best minds on our planet will be tasked with designing housing structures which will stand up to any deadly condition the colonizers will face, that is a given.
Yet these same designers and engineers, and the future colonizers with their families back on Earth, and indeed, all the inhabitants on Earth from time immemorial, have never enjoyed the same luxury for some inexplicable reason.
The men of Earth have never chosen to build a habitable structure capable of withstanding Earth's weather and Earths' catastrophic conditions which guarantee their own survival. Witness the most devastating fire in Los Angeles' history in January, 2025. Had anyone up until now cared, such destruction could not happen even with the negligence of governmental officials who ignore their forestry duties or simply insuring there is water in the hydrants.

Our basic philosophy is built around the childhood nursery rhyme of the three pigs which makes the point if you build your home of sticks, which the majority of Earths structures are and continue to this day to be constructed from, they will quickly be destroyed, or simply rot away.
